For people who notice the details
Flutto is chosen for the feeling it brings to a space. Soft shadows, depth you notice throughout the day, and a finish that feels calm, deliberate, and considered.
Four architectural profiles
Flutto is available in four distinct profiles, each offering its own visual character.
The dimensional form creates depth and shadow across the wall, with a rhythm that shifts naturally with changing light, giving the surface a strong sense of material presence.

Ridge
A continuous arched profile that creates a soft, flowing rhythm across the wall. Ridge introduces movement and depth while maintaining a calm, architectural presence.

Slat
A classic tambour-style profile with evenly spaced vertical slats. Slat offers a timeless architectural look, bringing order, depth, and material warmth to both modern and traditional interiors.

Mini-Ridge
A more compact version of the Ridge profile, with tighter arches and a finer rhythm. Mini Ridge offers a subtler expression, ideal for spaces where texture is desired without visual dominance.

Zig-zag
A geometric profile defined by sharp transitions and repeating angles. Zigzag brings a confident, graphic quality to the wall, creating contrast and structure within the space.

Flexible by design
Flutto installs cleanly on flat walls and can also wrap around convex curved features such as columns and rounded corners.
This flexibility makes it easier to achieve a continuous, considered finish across the space.

Materials and finish
Real wood veneer with a clean, refined finish.
Available in American Oak or American Walnut, the panels are left in their natural state to showcase the grain and character of real timber, with the option to oil or stain if you choose to personalise the finish.

Installation guidance
Flutto installs using our specially formulated panel adhesive for a clean, secure finish.

FAQs
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
What is Flutto?
Flutto is a sculptural wall panel finished in real wood veneer. It uses dimensional slat profiles to add depth, shadow, and visual interest to a space, making it a design-led alternative to flat wall finishes.
Are Flutto wall panels made from real wood?
Flutto is finished in real wood veneer, applied to an engineered core for stability and consistency. This construction delivers the look and warmth of solid timber, with a cleaner, more reliable finish for interior use.
Is a wood veneer real wood?
A veneer simply means a thin surface layer that’s applied to a backing material. That surface layer can be made from different things, including real wood or composite and synthetic materials.
This is where the confusion often comes from.
Some products use printed or composite veneers that only imitate the look of wood. Others, like Flutto, use a genuine wood veneer, sliced directly from real timber.
Because it’s real wood, a wood veneer has natural grain, texture, and variation, just like solid timber. The difference is thickness, not authenticity.
In furniture and architectural design, real wood veneers are widely used because they allow the beauty of natural timber to be applied consistently and responsibly, without the movement, cracking, or waste that can come with solid wood.
When we talk about veneer at WVH, we’re referring to real wood veneer, not printed or synthetic alternatives.
What profiles are available?
Flutto is available in four distinct profiles:
- Ridge
- Mini Ridge
- Zigzag
- Slat
Each profile offers a different rhythm and visual character, allowing you to choose the level of texture and expression that suits your space.
What timber finishes do Flutto wall panels come in?
Flutto is available in:
- American Oak
- American Walnut
Both finishes highlight the natural grain and warmth of real timber, with a refined, architectural feel.
Are Flutto wall panels flexible?
Yes.
Flutto is designed to flex in a convex direction, allowing it to wrap around curved features such as columns or rounded walls. It is not designed to bend inward (concave).
Is Flutto an acoustic panel?
No.
Flutto is a decorative wall panel and does not provide acoustic absorption.
If acoustic performance is required, Acupanel or Acupanel Luxe would be the better choice.
Can Flutto be used in kitchens or bathrooms?
Flutto can be used in kitchens and bathrooms where it is not exposed to direct moisture, steam, or splash zones.
It works well in areas such as:
- Under island benches
- Feature walls away from sinks or cooktops
- Powder rooms or toilets
- Bathrooms where shower steam is well contained and does not reach the panels
Flutto is not designed for high-moisture areas or locations where water or steam regularly comes into contact with the surface, such as inside showers, behind basins, or near stovetops.
If you’re unsure whether Flutto is suitable for your space, our team is happy to help assess the location and recommend the best option.
Can Flutto wall panels be used on flat walls?
Absolutely.
While Flutto is often chosen for curved features, it works just as well on flat walls and is commonly used as a feature wall or design accent.
How are Flutto wall panels installed?
Flutto is installed using panel adhesive. The panels are fixed directly to the wall surface for a clean, seamless finish.
We recommend following our installation guide, and our support team can advise if you have questions about wall types or fixing methods.
Can Flutto wall panels be cut to size?
Yes.
Flutto panels can be cut to size using common tools. A fine-toothed saw is recommended for clean cuts, and a multi-tool can be useful for detailed areas such as outlets or corners.
Can Flutto wall panels be oiled or stained?
Yes.
Flutto is supplied in its natural wood veneer finish.
For those who wish to customise the look, the veneer accepts wood oils or stains, allowing you to deepen the tone or personalise the finish if desired.
This is optional. The panels do not require oiling to maintain their appearance.
Can I order samples?
Yes. Samples are available so you can see the profile, finish, and timber tone in person before committing.
Where can I find installation guides and videos?
Installation guides and step-by-step videos are available on this page and in our Help Centre.
If you have a specific question, our support team is always happy to help.
